Read the thought slowly for meaning, then aloud for rhythm. Tap the pronunciation on the vocabulary words and repeat them. Save one or two words to your Lexicon, then write a few sentences of your own about what the thought means to you. Reading, listening, speaking, and writing in a few minutes.
Spaced repetition reviews a word at growing intervals — a day later, then several days, then weeks — right before you would forget it, which dramatically improves long-term memory. Your Lexicon saves the words you choose and resurfaces each one exactly when it is due for review.
Each thought lists its source. Where a quote is famous but its exact origin is uncertain or commonly misattributed, we mark it clearly as attributed rather than presenting it as verified.
Tap the star on any thought to pin it. Pinned thoughts glow as gold stars along the side of every page and gather in your Sanctuary, where your streak, saved words, and personal journal also live.
Yes. On a phone you can add it to your home screen and open it like an app, and after your first visit the site works offline. Your saved words, favorites, and journal stay private on your own device.
